The acquisition deal between Playmaker and SuperPoker is valued at $4.3m and includes cash, common shares, earn-out, and a commission bonus based on sales exceeding $800,000.

As part of the deal, Playmaker’s Futbol Sites subsidiary will manage SuperPoker’s day-to-day operations and its suite of products.

SuperPoker receives 15 million annual visits and has 1.25 million unique annual users. It is also the official Portuguese language streaming platform for various poker events.

SuperPoker’s monetization efforts will be transitioned to Playmaker’s proprietary monetization technology stack, the Playmaker Bench.

The partnership with SuperPoker allows Playmaker to expand its ecosystem of engaged fans and provides additional content for fans and opportunities for betting and advertising clients.

Igor Trafane, founder of SuperPoker, will continue to work with the Futbol Sites team to support and grow its presence in Brazil.

The deal follows Playmaker’s previous acquisitions of Fanáticos Por Futebol and Yardbarker, further expanding its presence in the Brazilian market.
