Games Global acquires Super Group B2B division to enhance strategic growth

Supplier Games Global acquired the assets from Super Group on February 7, one year ago. The financial terms of the deal were not publicly disclosed. The purchase is seen as a significant milestone for Games Global, as it aids in their upcoming launch in the US market. This acquisition allows them to work directly with operators in the country. DGC B2B, part of Super Group, has a presence in multiple US states such as Pennsylvania, Iowa, New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Virginia, Ohio, and Louisiana. Super Group acquired the business, which holds the rights to the Betway brand in the US, in January 2023. The initial agreement for the deal was made in January 2022. Despite being a relatively new player in the market, Games Global has a network of 40 exclusive studios and possesses more than 1,300 proprietary games along with a progressive jackpot network. The US market is crucial for Games Global’s growth strategy. CEO Walter Bugno expresses excitement over the acquisition of DGC B2B, stating it enables their entry into the rapidly expanding US market and aligns with their vision to become a leader in the global gaming industry. Bugno emphasizes that this move not only strengthens their global position but also allows for further innovation and the delivery of exceptional experiences to operators and players. Super Group CEO Neal Menashe expresses satisfaction with the completion of the sale, stating that they can now focus on their global B2C growth. Menashe also mentions that Games Global is a valued long-term partner and reassures that DGC’s B2B division is in good hands, wishing them success.
