Fennica Gaming expands international presence with eInstants launch in France

Fennica Gaming, a subsidiary of the Finnish National Lottery, has marked a significant milestone in its strategic expansion by launching its eInstants in France. This move is the result of a collaborative effort with La Française des Jeux (FDJ) and the Lotteries Entertainment Innovation Alliance (LEIA).

The introduction of these games underscores Fennica Gaming’s commitment to providing high-quality, engaging gaming experiences across different markets. Timo Kiiskinen, Managing Director of Fennica Gaming, emphasized the importance of player-centric design: “In everything we do, we put the player first. This means offering a high-quality game portfolio for every target audience, which we can provide with our dedicated team and game studios from our ‘Game Family'”.

The first game launched in France is “Northern Jack,” localized as “Chercheur d’Or.” This game features Fennica Gaming’s Match’Em mechanic, bonus rounds, and an adaptive algorithm, along with an in-game tutorial to guide players. Kirsi Lagus, VP Portfolio and Product Development, highlighted the game’s success: “It’s one of our most successful games across all our markets. We are excited to work with the French colleagues to support their goals of bringing great games to their players”.

This strategic partnership with FDJ and LEIA is part of Fennica Gaming’s broader expansion into European markets. Previously, the company had successfully launched eInstant games in Brazil with LottoCap, demonstrating its ability to adapt and thrive in diverse gaming environments.

Esther Millet, FDJ’s Product Manager, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “Launching Fennica Gaming’s eInstants in our offering is a significant achievement in LEIA cooperation. We are excited to see the same positive reception from French players as in the other LEIA countries”.
