The group, which owns brands such as Betfair, Paddy Power, PokerStars, and FanDuel, has established a Workforce Engagement Committee to enhance employee matters within the decision-making process. The committee will be chaired by independent non-executive director Mary Turner and will consist of Flutter chairman Gary McGann and directors Nancy Cruickshank, Nancy Dubuc, and Richard Flint. Its duties include maintaining appropriate workforce engagement policies, processes, and communication channels, evaluating feedback from workforce engagement initiatives, and staying informed on issues that impact the group’s workforce.

The Employee Voice Forum, formed in accordance with the 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code, will be replaced by the new committee, which represents employees from 75 different nationalities speaking 62 languages. Flutter recognizes the valuable contributions of its diverse international workforce and aims to incorporate their views into the board’s decision-making process.

In other news, Flutter subsidiary FanDuel Group will establish a technology campus at Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia. This hub will house software engineering, product development, UX, and UI teams. FanDuel plans to expand its Atlanta-based workforce to approximately 900 employees over the next five years. According to FanDuel’s Chief Product Officer Sarah Butterfass, Ponce City Market’s historic building offers a blend of old-world charm, modern amenities, and a location that allows the company to tap into Atlanta’s talented pool of university graduates.
