The proposal to re-appoint all directors will be put to shareholders at the Betsson AGM on 7 May 2024.

The directors currently serving are Eva de Falck, Peter Hamberg, Eva Leach, Pontus Lindwall, Louise Nylén, Tristan Sjöberg, and Lundberg, who also holds the role of chair.

In addition to the director re-appointment, shareholders will consider increasing board fees by 10%, which have remained unchanged since 2021.

Pontus Lindwall, in his capacity as chief executive, will not receive any board fees.

The Betsson nomination committee consists of Jenny Rosberg, Ingela Kling, and Mats Axell.

Betsson announced a record revenue of €237.6m in Q3 2023.

The successful year for Betsson, with a record Q3, includes highlights such as earnings before interest and tax of €56.0m (a 45.8% rise from last year), pre-tax profit of €50.8m (up 44.7%), net profit of €46.2m (a 41.7% increase), and EBITDA of €68.9m (a 41.8% rise) for the quarter.

Betsson completed the acquisition of BetFirst Group and secured online casino and sports betting licenses in Serbia and France, respectively.

However, the business has withdrawn its igaming license applications in the Netherlands due to multiple delays in the certification process.
