Significant Increase in NH Sports Betting Revenue and Handle for March

New Hampshire’s sports-betting handle for the month of February 2022 has shown significant growth compared to the same period last year. The total amount wagered by consumers reached $78.8m, which is 11.1% higher than the $70.9m in February 2022. This increase demonstrates the growing popularity and participation in sports betting within the state.

Players wagered a total of $60.3 million on sports via online platforms in March, while $18.5 million was bet at physical sportsbooks.

In the context of sports-betting, the gross gaming revenue derived from this activity in the month amounted to $5.3 million, an increase from $4.3 million in March 2021 and a significant growth of 430.0% compared to the $1.0 million recorded in February of this year.

In sports-betting, a total of $4.8 million in revenue was generated through internet betting, while the remaining $460,420 came from retail wagering.
