Novig Sports Betting Launches in Colorado with New License

1 Min Read

The Colorado Division of Gaming has granted Novig an Internet Sports Betting Operator licence, allowing the company to launch its sports betting offering in Colorado. Novig will partner with Full House Resorts and its Bronco Billy’s Casino property in Cripple Creek for this venture. Initially, Novig will operate as a sports betting operator until exchange betting gets approved in Colorado. The operator will provide football, basketball, baseball, and college sports markets, with plans to expand to more sports in the future. Users can place bets on the moneyline, point spread, and game totals, both before and during the game. Novig aims to create an unparalleled, community-led betting experience and become the preferred destination for sports enthusiasts and experienced bettors.

In August, Novig raised $6.4 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment round was led by Lux Capital, with participation from well-known Silicon Valley venture capitalists such as Y Combinator and Arash Ferdowsi, co-founder of Dropbox. Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Joe Montana, also invested in the company.
