North Carolina State Lottery Commission approved 11 March as the go-live date for online sports betting in the state

Players can register for accounts from 1 March and fund them

House Bill 347 signed into law on 14 June mandated sports betting regulations to be published before 8 January 2024

Operators in the state must accept wagers before 14 June 2024

Commission issued two full sports wagering supplier licences and seven provisional licences

GeoComply and SBTech received the full supplier licences

Commission approved a voluntary self-exclusion programme for North Carolina residents

Operators such as Caesars Entertainment, DraftKings, and BetMGM have secured market access

Commission working with eight operators to have them licensed before the go-live date

Bet365 and FanDuel are also on the list of operators

11 March will be a go-live date to remember
