Gross gaming revenue (GGR) from the DraftKings-powered Scoreboard sportsbook significantly increased compared to May 2020, but was lower than April 2021.

Players faced a lack of available sporting events to bet on as many tournaments, competitions, and games were either postponed or canceled due to the pandemic. This resulted in a significant blow to the sports betting industry.
The state’s sports-betting revenue declined in the previous month, but its handle experienced substantial year-on-year growth.
In May, sports bettors wagered a total of $27.7 million, which shows a significant 9.5% increase compared to the previous month’s total of $25.3 million.
