Indiana sports-betting revenue sees February growth despite decline in handle

Player spending on sports-betting during the month of March totaled $356.2 million, representing a 12.9% decrease compared to the $409.1 million spent in February 2022 and a 16.6% decline from the $427.2 million wagered in January of this year.

Basketball proved to be the most popular sport in terms of sports-betting, accumulating a total of $166.0m in wagers during February. This amount far surpassed the wagers placed on football, which amounted to $20.6m, and baseball, where wagers only reached $441,296.

A total of $69.3 million was allocated to parlay bets, while another $99.6 million was dedicated to various other sports wagers.
