Increase in Colorado Sports Betting Revenue to $19.7 Million in June Despite Decline in Total Bets

Gross gaming revenue from sports wagering in June reached $17.6m, a 15.8% increase from May’s $15.2m and a staggering 700.0% rise compared to June last year’s $2.2m.

In the month of June, online betting generated $19.5 million in sports wagering revenue, while retail sportsbooks only brought in $195,946 in the state.

In terms of spending on sports-betting, players wagered $229.8m in June, marking a 10.1% decrease compared to the $249.0m bet in May. This figure represents the lowest monthly amount of the year so far.

In the context of sports-betting, a total of $227.1 million was wagered with online operators, while $2.7 million was bet at retail sportsbook facilities.

Basketball continued to be the top choice for sports betting in Colorado, with $74.9m in total bets during the month.
