Impressive 920.5% Year-on-Year Increase in Iowa Sports Betting Revenue for February

Revenue for February in the sports-betting industry amounted to $7.7m (£5.6m/€6.5m), which is an increase from $755,334 in the same month last year. However, it is 31.8% lower than the record revenue of $11.3m achieved in January this year.

Online sports betting generated a total revenue of $6.0 million for the month, significantly surpassing retail revenue which amounted to $1.7 million.

This is an impressive increase of 152.4% compared to the previous amount of $56.9 million. However, it is slightly lower than the record-breaking handle of $149.5 million that was set in January.

In the world of sports-betting, a staggering $125.2 million was wagered on online platforms in the month of February. In comparison, the amount wagered at physical retail sportsbook facilities in the state amounted to a significantly lower $18.4 million.
