Dazn Bet, a sports betting operator, was established in April 2022 as a result of Dazn’s partnership with Pragmatic Solutions. Last month, it was added to the sports betting section of Germany’s white list, which was created after the enactment of Germany’s Fourth State Treaty on Gambling (GlüNeuRStv) in July 2021. The GlüNeuRStv also led to the establishment of Germany’s regulator, Gemeinsamen Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL).
Gabriel Vollmann, the managing director of Dazn Bet, expressed that Dazn Bet provides Dazn users and those interested in sports betting with a unique sports experience. He emphasized the close collaboration with German authorities and the brand partnership with Dazn, which highlights their commitment to being a safe provider in a regulated market that prioritizes player enjoyment.
Dazn Bet will not only offer sports betting services but also provide materials to promote safer gambling, including problem gambling detection technology and self-regulation tools.
Beginning in mid-September, Dazn Bet will be available on Dazn’s platform.
Pragmatic Solutions, through its igaming player account management (PAM) platform, plays a crucial role in powering the launch of Dazn Bet. This collaboration marks their third joint launch, following successful launches in the UK and Spain.
