The agreement between BtoBet and Oatbet, a sports betting operator, was facilitated by BtoBet’s certified partner for Africa, STM Gaming. Oatbet will utilize BtoBet’s Neuron 3 platform, which offers a wide range of local and international sports events and competitions for both pre-match and in-play betting markets. Additionally, the platform promotes other verticals such as online and live casino games, as well as virtual sports.
Sabrina Soldà, the chief marketing officer of BtoBet, expressed excitement about the long-term cooperation with Oatbet. She emphasized that BtoBet’s betting solutions will provide Oatbet with the necessary technological capabilities and flexibility to expand its market share in the sports betting industry. Soldà also highlighted the high demand for BtoBet’s technologies and betting solutions, positioning the company as the primary gateway to the market.
Oatbet’s chief operating officer, Ikay Arigbe-Osula, explained that BtoBet was the obvious choice for their operator due to its strong presence in Africa, particularly in Nigeria. Arigbe-Osula emphasized the importance of market knowledge for operators looking to expand their presence in Africa. In BtoBet, Oatbet found the ideal technological partner that provides both market knowledge and advanced technological capabilities, enabling them to differentiate their brand and provide a player-centric betting experience.
In October, BtoBet was acquired by Aspire Global for €20m in cash as part of Aspire Global’s growth strategy. This acquisition allows Aspire Global to cover key elements of the B2B igaming value chain. BtoBet has been expanding its presence globally, securing deals to supply its technology solutions to operators in Russia, Colombia, and Venezuela, among other countries.
