Last month, Aspire Global announced its acquisition of BtoBet in a deal worth €20m. The payment will be made in cash, with €15m upfront and €5m after 12 months. The agreement also includes an additional consideration based on BtoBet’s performance two years after the deal closes. Aspire Global was granted approval from the North Macedonian authorities to finalize the acquisition. The purchase of BtoBet and its B2B sportsbook is a significant part of Aspire Global’s growth strategy, allowing them to cover key elements of the B2B igaming value chain. With access to BtoBet’s Neuron 3 sports betting platform, Aspire Global will now be involved in all major areas of online gambling. Currently, 33 operators across Europe, Latin America, and Africa are active on the BtoBet platform, including recent customer Betfair in Colombia, who chose BtoBet’s player account management platform for their operations.
