During the 90-day period from March 21 to June 16, Kindred reported that 3.3% of its gross winnings revenue came from high-risk players. This is a decrease from the 4.3% in the previous quarter and consistent with the percentage recorded in the first quarter of this year. Kindred also highlighted that 84.7% of customers showed improvement in their gambling behavior after receiving intervention from the company, compared to 76.6% last year and 83.1% in the first quarter of this year.

In line with its commitment to social responsibility, Kindred formed a partnership with QuitGamble.com, an online community dedicated to helping individuals overcome gambling addiction. This collaboration supplements Kindred’s existing agreements with Gamban and RecoverMe, and reinforces its efforts to provide responsible gambling tools to its players. Kindred aims to achieve 0% revenue generated from harmful gambling activities.

Henrik Tjärnström, Kindred’s CEO, acknowledged the importance of early intervention in preventing harmful behavior and expressed satisfaction with the increasing effectiveness of the company’s intervention approach. However, he also emphasized the need to further reduce revenue from harmful gambling and highlighted the importance of collaboration with industry stakeholders.

The partnership with QuitGamble.com was welcomed by Anders Bergman, the founder of the organization. He highlighted the range of supports provided by QuitGamble.com, including a community, video courses, mobile apps, guides, and a self-assessment test. Bergman expressed pride in collaborating with Kindred, noting that it would enable QuitGamble.com to support more individuals struggling with gambling addiction.
