The initiative managed by Made by Sport aims to support community clubs impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Throughout 2021, grants will be made available to these organizations. Flutter’s charity initiative, Cash4Clubs, donated £4.8m to the project last month. This donation was equivalent to the business rates relief it received for its shops in England from March 2020 to March 2021.

Flutter’s Cash4Clubs initiative, which was launched in 2008, has provided almost £800,000 to clubs over the past 12 years. In 2020 alone, they granted £165,000. The funding from business rates relief will directly benefit the communities in need, thanks to the partnership between Flutter and Made by Sport.

Flutter chief executive Peter Jackson expressed his pleasure in supporting grassroots community sport through Cash4Clubs. He looks forward to witnessing the positive impact this funding will have on communities across the UK.
