The adult gaming centre (AGC) operator claims that 360 represents the largest social responsibility initiative by a low-stakes gambling operator in the UK market. It has been developed in collaboration with the Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4), an Amsterdam-based responsible gambling standards organization. Gauselmann UK, together with G4, conducted a cultural assessment of its business and established an advisory board composed of senior executives and external specialists to promote social responsibility. The board is responsible for setting objectives, performance indicators, and methods of measuring success, as well as generating new ideas to raise standards across the industry. The customer experience manager reports directly to the CEO, and the plan has received support from key associations and regulatory bodies. Gauselmann UK aims to deliver a safe gambling experience and ensure the highest standards in social responsibility.
“The aim in everything that we do is to be the very best in the business, which includes delivering effective social responsibility undertakings,” said Sascha Blodau, general manager of Gauselmann UK. “When it comes to protecting vulnerable players, we believe there is always more that can be done, as it is an ongoing journey without an end point.”
