Gamban partners with Norsk Tipping to expand globally focusing on social-responsibility

Under the agreement, players will be able to use Gamban’s free software to self-exclude themselves from accessing igaming websites and apps in Norway for a specified period of time. The blocker will run across all devices and is available to all users, not just Norsk Tipping customers.

Norsk Tipping and Norsk Rikstoto are the only licensed online gambling operators allowed to offer igaming in Norway. However, the Gamban blocker will prevent consumers from accessing all igaming websites, including unlicensed ones operating in the country.

Gamban’s blocking software will complement Norsk Tipping’s existing responsible gambling measures, such as loss limits. To further enhance player protection, Norsk Tipping recently reduced the maximum monthly loss limit on high-risk games by 25% and set specific limits for December and January. For certain games like KongKasino, eFlax, Bingoria, and Yezz, players can only lose up to NOK7,500 during this period. Additionally, the maximum daily loss limit for these games has been reduced by 50% to NOK2,000.
