BetBlocker Introduces Dutch-language Self-Exclusion Tool for Social Responsibility

1 Min Read

In order to address a significant gap in the Dutch online gambling market, L&L Europe has partnered with BetBlocker to provide a Dutch-language self-exclusion tool. BetBlocker’s software, which has been successfully utilized by UK customers since 2018, will be translated and made available to Dutch customers, ensuring support in their native language. By joining forces, L&L Europe and BetBlocker aim to provide a sustainable strategy to reach Dutch users and increase awareness about responsible gambling. This collaboration has been hailed as groundbreaking and is made possible with the support of Feite Hofman, owner of “Pas op Gamen en Gokken.”

The launch of the Dutch-language self-exclusion tool is particularly timely as the Netherlands’ online gambling market is set to open on October 1st. The government plans to introduce the Centraal Register Uitsluiting Kansspelen (Cruks) system as a central self-exclusion mechanism, allowing players to prevent access to gambling operators. This collaborative effort aims to support the country’s move towards a regulated online market and promote social responsibility in the gambling industry.
