The International Center for Responsible Gambling (ICRG) is seeking applications from scientists worldwide to receive funding for research projects related to gambling and player protection. The organization also plans to sponsor programs that will disseminate research findings beyond academia and provide guidelines to the gambling industry for implementing effective responsible strategies.
In line with its commitment to social responsibility, Bally’s donation will support various initiatives aimed at educating treatment providers, responsible gambling professionals, regulators, and policymakers about gambling disorder and responsible gambling.
Established in 1996, the ICRG has emerged as a prominent source of funding for problem gambling research, leading to the publication of numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Ongoing projects include evaluating self-imposed limits on gambling time and money, as well as exploring the national impact of sports wagering in the United States.
