XLMedia Appoints New Finance Chief, Ackroyd, to Drive Growth and Financial Success

Caroline Ackroyd will be joining XLMedia as their new CFO, bringing with her extensive experience in the gambling industry. Previously, she held the position of CFO at Jaywing from September 2020 and also served as CFO at Push Doctor from November 2018 to September 2020.

Ackroyd has had previous experience with Sky Betting & Gaming, where she worked in different roles. From October 2006 to June 2011, she served as deputy finance director. She then moved on to a financial role within Sky and later became the finance director at Coral. In January 2015, she returned to Sky Betting & Gaming as a finance consultant and eventually became the director of commercial finance.

After completing her notice period of up to six months, Ackroyd will officially join XLMedia and its board. In the meantime, Rowan Ellis, who had been serving as the interim CFO, will resume his role as a financial consultant and assist with a smooth transition.

Ackroyd expressed her excitement about joining XLMedia and working with the team to further develop and expand the company. XLMedia’s CEO, Stuart Simms, welcomed Ackroyd to the leadership team, highlighting her extensive experience and knowledge of the industry, particularly in relation to the progress being made in US sports.
