Steve Schrier has joined Tekkorp as part of their strategic and advisory team. With over 25 years of experience in the technology and gaming sectors, Schrier brings valuable expertise to the newly established advisory arm of Tekkorp. Previously, he served as the chief executive of Sales Tribe and the chief commercial officer at SG Digital. Schrier has also held positions such as vice-president of sales and customer relations at Playtech, commercial director at Ash Gaming, and business director for AliQuantum Gaming, among others.
Schrier will be working alongside other executives on the advisory team, including Crispin Nieboer, Andy Clerkson, Martin Kostov, Tarvi Randve, and Roger Lu. Leading the business is Davey, the founder of NYX Gaming Group, with support from Robin Chhabra as president and Eric Matejevich as chief financial officer. Davey values the importance of having a diverse and experienced team to contribute to the potential growth of Tekkorp Capital within the global gaming sector.
Recently, Tekkorp has been part of a consortium that plans to launch a new wagering venture called NTD Pty in Australia and New Zealand. The venture, in partnership with News Corp Australia and TGW, will apply for a sports bookmaker license to operate an online wagering product for punters in these countries. To support this venture, BetMakers Technology Group’s subsidiary, OM Apps, will provide B2B platform technology and wagering solutions.
