Toh has been appointed as the new chief financial officer of SJM Holdings, replacing Robert Earle (McBain). McBain will continue as an advisor to SJM’s subsidiary. Toh has been serving as the chief operating officer for finance and development of SJM’s business since October of last year. Before joining SJM, Toh held the position of chief financial officer at Shangri-La Asia Limited and also worked as CFO, executive vice president, and executive director at Sands China.

SJM expressed its appreciation to Mr. McBain for his contribution as CFO and welcomed Mr. Toh to his new role. This appointment comes after SJM reported a significant drop in net gaming revenue for the third quarter, primarily due to the impact of Covid-19 and the resulting restrictions on its land-based properties. Net gaming revenue for the three months ending 30 September 2020 was HK$879m, a decrease of 89.6% compared to HK$8.24bn in 2019.
