Ben Warn, an experienced gambling industry executive, has been appointed as the head of UK operations for Checkd Group. Warn, who joined the company three years ago as an advisor, will also support the group in expanding its product development and media services in both the UK and the US. This move comes after the recent launch of Checkd Group’s FlashPicks sports betting website in the US. Prior to joining Checkd Group, Warn held executive positions at Perform and BSkyB, where he was credited with developing the popular Soccer Saturday Super 6 prediction game. He was also the commercial director for Blue Square, a subsidiary of Rank Group. Currently, Warn serves as a non-executive director of Sportech and chairman of Go Racing in Yorkshire. In his new role, Warn aims to accelerate Checkd Group’s growth in the UK sports betting industry by delivering solutions that cater to the needs of its loyal and large community. Checkd Group CEO Jamie Knowlson expressed his confidence in Warn’s leadership and believes that he will play a significant role in the company’s ongoing success. Furthermore, Checkd Group recently welcomed Dan Broda as its new senior product manager in February.
