Turbatu’s new role at Casumo began on 24 July, where she now holds a position after serving as the CTO at BeyondPlay. During her 19-month tenure at BeyondPlay, a B2B start-up specializing in engagement software for online gaming operators, Turbatu showcased her expertise. Prior to this role, she spent over five years at Playtech and concluded her time there as the head of the company’s Innovation Lab and Marketplace. Earlier in her career, Turbatu also had a notable stint at BetVictor for over a year.

Turbatu expressed her excitement about joining Casumo in a LinkedIn post, stating her eagerness to collaborate with the talented team, understand each member and their exceptional work, and utilize her experience to drive innovation and contribute to the company’s remarkable success.

Casumo has been actively reshuffling its management team this year and Turbatu’s appointment is just the latest addition. In the previous month, Janice Duncan, formerly of Rank Interactive, joined as the group chief financial officer. In March, the operator also brought on board industry veteran Francesco Postiglione as the new group chief executive.
