Mark Kemp joined the Tote Group in 2019 after working for Coral as gaming director through its merger with Ladbrokes and acquisition by GVC Holdings. With his new role as Boylesports CEO, Kemp aims to lead the already successful business and drive growth in both digital and retail channels, targeting market share expansion in existing and new markets.
In his previous position at the UK Tote Group, Kemp achieved a seven-year strategic agreement with Tote Ireland, enabling the operation of Tote Ireland’s off-course business and the joint promotion of Tote betting on Irish and British racing globally.
Boylesports founder and chairman, John Boyle, expresses delight in welcoming Mark to the company and highlights his senior leadership experience, particularly in the online betting sector, as a crucial factor for selection. Boyle emphasizes the importance of Mark’s digital leadership expertise, which plays a vital role in BoyleSports’ growth.
Conor Gray, who joined BoyleSports in 2013 and was previously responsible for international business development, assumed the role of chief executive in 2017, succeeding Boyle. As part of the restructuring, Gray will focus on expanding BoyleSports in Ireland, the UK, and other international markets.
Boyle expresses gratitude to Conor Gray for his significant contributions, which include adding 150 shops to the company’s retail network and achieving over 100% growth in the digital business. With the new structure in place, Gray will spearhead the exploration and realization of new opportunities for BoyleSports worldwide.
