Aspire Global, an online gambling solutions provider, has recently appointed Antoine Bonello as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Managing Director of its Malta business. Bonello, formerly of William Hill and Flutter Entertainment, will assume his new role on 1 November. At William Hill International, Bonello was responsible for product and business development, sportsbook and gaming. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer for the MRG Group, the Managing Director Malta for Flutter, and the Integration Director for the Betfair-Paddy Power merger.
Bonello will be taking over from Dima Reiderman, who has decided to step down as COO for personal reasons. Reiderman will work alongside Bonello during the transition period to ensure a smooth handover. “The business has a sound strategy and a proven business model in place with Aspire Global consistently strengthening its market position and delivering against this plan,” said Bonello. “I look forward to using my experience and working with the current team and board to focus on efficient execution and further profitable growth.”
Aspire Global CEO Tsachi Maimon expressed his confidence in the appointment, stating, “Antoine has a proven and successful track-record of driving operational excellence and has a thorough knowledge of the iGaming industry. He will play an important role in our continued focus on efficiency and operational excellence.”
This appointment follows Aspire Global’s strong financial performance, with a 17.4% increase in revenue in the first half of the year and a record-breaking second quarter. In the six months ending 30 June, the company generated €77.4m in revenue, a 17.4% growth compared to the previous year. B2B net gaming revenue also rose by 32.6% to €53.1m during this period.
