Betway strengthens marketing-affiliate partnerships through sponsorship of Stockholm Open tennis event

Betway has signed an exclusive partnership deal with the ATP tournament, making it the tournament’s official betting partner. As part of the agreement, Betway’s branding will be prominently displayed courtside at the Stockholm Open. Anthony Werkman, the CEO of Betway, expressed excitement about this collaboration, highlighting the tournament’s rich history as the world’s oldest ATP indoor tournament. This sponsorship marks Betway’s tenth ATP tour sponsorship of the year, including its previous partnership with the ATP’s MercedesCup in May.

After a two-year hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Stockholm Open is set to take place from November 6th to 13th. Betway looks forward to engaging with tennis fans and offering a week of thrilling matches and tennis action. Kristoffer Svensson, Head of the Stockholm Open at Division Platforms, welcomes Betway to the event and shares the excitement for the upcoming tournament.

In other news, Super Group, the owner of Betway, plans to merge with Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition business. This merger will enable Super Group to go public on the New York Stock Exchange with an equity valuation of $4.75 billion (£3.42 billion/€3.92 billion).
