Connor McDavid, the reigning most valuable player (MVP) for the NHL, has joined BetMGM as a brand ambassador. This makes him the first active professional athlete from the four major sports leagues in North America to partner with the operator. As a brand ambassador, McDavid will be featured in BetMGM’s marketing campaigns, promotions, social media content, and fan events. With his impressive accomplishments on the ice, including becoming the league’s youngest ever captain at the age of 19 and leading the NHL in scoring three times, McDavid is widely respected as one of the best players of his generation. He expressed his excitement about partnering with BetMGM and joining the same team as star athletes like Wayne Gretzky and Kevin Garnett. BetMGM’s chief revenue officer, Matt Prevost, welcomed McDavid to the family and looks forward to working together to engage BetMGM players across North America.
