Sisal is among the contenders for the fourth National Lottery license in the UK, following the tender launched by the British Gambling Commission in August 2020. The preferred applicant is expected to be announced in September 2021 after a year-long bidding process.
Sazka Group, a pan-European lottery and gaming giant, was the first company to express its intent to compete for the license. India’s largest lottery operator, Sugal & Damani, and the current licensee, Camelot, are also in the running for the tender.
