According to the Supreme Court of Lithuania, gambling is restricted and controlled by various legal acts, as it is considered dangerous to society. The court found that the agreement between the parties promoted gambling and went against public policy. Therefore, the court dismissed the plaintiff’s action.

In July, a ban on gambling promotion was implemented in Lithuania, making bonuses illegal. Consequently, companies like Baltic Bet and Unigames have been fined for breaching these regulations.
