GiG Announces 2023 Revenue and Net Profit Increase prior to Company Restructuring in Finance Sector

1 Min Read

In early 2023, GiG made the decision to split its GiG Media affiliate and Platform & Sportsbook divisions into separate entities as part of a strategic review. This move will see GiG Media focusing on media offerings such as affiliate lead generation services, while Platform & Sportsbook will handle technical igaming platforms and managed services.

Throughout 2023, GiG has been preparing for the split by making senior appointments, with Richard Carter leading the Platform & Sportsbook business and Jonas Warrer overseeing GiG Media. The company also announced the exit of CEO Richard Brown ahead of schedule, with a strong set of results for the year reported.

GiG’s revenue for 2023 saw growth, with consolidated group revenue reaching €126.m. The Platform & Sportsbook division works with partners in 29 markets, contributing to the company’s overall financial performance. Despite higher costs, GiG remained profitable and optimistic about its future growth potential.

Looking at the final quarter of 2023, GiG recorded a net loss, but GiG Media showed positive results with all-time high revenue. The company continues to focus on international markets and expand its presence in North America and Latin America.
