Intralot has recently extended two significant contracts through its regional subsidiaries, solidifying its presence in the Netherlands and Ireland. These extensions not only ensure the continuation of existing services but also introduce new and advanced features to enhance the gaming experience for players.
The Netherlands
Intralot Benelux has extended its contract with Nederlandse Loterij Organisatie (NLO) until June 2027. This agreement will see Intralot continue to provide operations and management services to the retail sportsbook brand TOTO, which operates through a network of over 4,000 retail access points across the country.
- Services Provided:** Operations and management services for TOTO retail sportsbook.Provision of the sports betting platform, Intralot Orion, covering various sports betting events including horseracing, greyhound racing, virtual, and pre-recorded games.Trading and risk management services, as well as monitoring and performance tracking for TOTO’s games via Intralot Photon terminals.;
- Significance:** TOTO is the primary sponsor for the Dutch football league, known as the Toto KNVB Beker.The extension continues a nearly 12-year partnership between Intralot and NLO, enhancing the retail sports betting experience in the Netherlands.;
Ireland
Intralot Ireland has signed a three-year contract extension with Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI) until November 2027. This extension allows Intralot to continue supporting PLI through its advanced central gaming system.
- Services Provided:** Advanced central gaming system integrated throughout the retail network of over 4,300 Intralot terminals.Extension of services to online customers on both web-based and mobile platforms.;
- Significance:** The contract ensures the continued operation of the National Lottery of Ireland, supporting both retail and online players.;
Recent achievements
In addition to these contract extensions, Intralot has also marked a significant milestone in North America. In early June 2024, the company successfully transitioned the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s (BCLC) retail lottery system to the LotosX Omni ecosystem, a fully cloud-based technology platform. This achievement makes BCLC one of the first lotteries in the world to adopt a fully cloud-based system.
