Van Lambaart will join the Casinos Austria management board from 14 March 2022 and take over the position previously held by Bettina Glatz-Kremsner from 1 April.
His appointment concludes a recruitment process for selecting Glatz-Kremsner’s successor handled by executive search firm Spencer Stuart.
Van Lambaart has led Holland Casino since 2016, overseeing its expansion into online gaming starting October this year.
He previously worked in broadcast media and led an events business.

Van Lambaart was unanimously backed as the outstanding candidate after being considered alongside other candidates during the recruitment process.
The appointment of van Lambaart represents a new approach to recruitment at Casinos Austria.

The appointment was praised by Casinos Austria’s supervisory board chair Wolfgang Hesoun and Österreichische Beteiligungs board member Christine Catasta.
They expressed confidence in van Lambaart’s ability to lead the business into the future, citing his international experience and understanding of the gaming industry.
Chvatal, Catasta, and Hesoun also thanked Bettina Glatz-Kremsner for her contributions to Casinos Austria over her 30-year tenure with the company.
Glatz-Kremsner expressed her commitment to ensuring a smooth handover process.
