Philippines-listed company Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, the operator of Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila and Solaire Resort North in Quezon City, has confirmed plans for a new casino project in Cavite.
The new project is located in Paniman, Ternate, Cavite, approximately 66 kilometers southwest of Metro Manila. Bloomberry is currently in the final stages of acquiring the land and developing the master plan for this project.
While the exact timeline for the project’s completion has not been finalized, Bloomberry has indicated that the Paniman development is expected to open within the next five to ten years. This will mark the company’s third Solaire-branded property.
Bloomberry’s recent focus has been on ramping up operations at Solaire Resort North, which debuted in May 2024. This $1 billion gaming complex in Quezon City features 526 guest rooms and suites, 2,669 electronic gaming machines, and 163 tables across four casino levels.
The inauguration of Solaire Resort North was attended by prominent figures, including President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, and PAGCOR’s Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco. Tengco acknowledged the extensive efforts by Bloomberry to complete the project.
Bloomberry’s chairman and CEO, Enrique Razon, has emphasized that the company will prioritize the full ramp-up of Solaire North before launching new projects. Once Solaire North is fully operational and generating the expected cash flow, the company will likely proceed with the Paniman project.
