Kfpicks recommends a forecast for the ATP in Geneva.
We are going to Geneva again to this tournament that is giving us such good results at the moment. Duel for a place in the semifinals that faces Richard Gasquet and Kamil Majchrzak.
Gasquet arrives at this match having beaten Daniil Medvedev on the day the Russian was returning to the circuit after having surgery for a hernia. We should not give too much importance to that match since Medvedev is totally out of rhythm and did not come here more than to get some preparation for Roland Garros.
I really liked Majchrzak in his match against Cecchinato deploying a great game and not giving the Italian any options.
For this match I expect a disputed duel that will however fall on the side of the Pole since Gasquet will suffer again the problems he usually has and that are none other than his physical fragility when he advances rounds and has to play several matches in a row.
I expect a 3-set match where Majchrzak's physique ends up imposing and he is the one who advances to the semifinals.
