Adam Yates and David Goudou have the same aspirations in the Tour de France: to make a good place in the general classification, to be able to get on the podium and achieve a stage triumph. Both are very well placed, since the Briton is fifth and the Frenchman sixth after the first forays with the middle mountain in explosive finishes.
In this context Goudou is better, but what awaits them at this stage are long ports that you have to climb at pace. And in this kind of stages Adam Yates is superior. The English cyclist already knows what it's like to finish a Tour in the top four and this year he is showing himself very solid, while Goudou can choke ports like the Galibier and the Granon.
For all this, I opt for Adam Yates to finish stage 11 of the Tour de France ahead of David Goudou.
