The Gobeyond competition is inviting students and entrepreneurs to submit their project ideas for a chance to win a €40,000 (£34,208/$47,122) equity-free grant and gain access to expert advice.
In the 2021 edition of the competition, participants are asked to propose business ideas in two categories:
- Ideas for a sustainable future and innovations targeting societal problems with long-term positive impact on the community.
- Ideas for a technological and digital society, aiming to simplify people’s lives using technology.
Sisal, the organizer of the competition, recognizes the importance of supporting young individuals and their innovative ideas as a crucial factor for the economic and social progress of a country. The company believes in actively contributing to society’s advancement.
In addition to the competition, Sisal has recently established its first Innovation Lab at the Agnelli Foundation in Turin. This facility focuses on digital and artificial intelligence innovation, welcoming universities, research centers, and start-ups. The aim is to attract young digital experts and foster the development of new ideas.
Sisal is currently one of the parties bidding for the fourth National Lottery license in the UK. As part of its bid, the company has partnered with children’s charity Barnardo’s and telecommunications giant BT.
