The BVGroup has announced a new name and rebranding to better reflect its position as a multi-brand gambling operator and B2B technology solutions provider. Along with the name change, the company will launch a new logo and corporate website. BVGroup manages several partner brands in addition to its flagship B2C BetVictor brand, using in-house technology for service and management. CEO Andreas Meinrad stated that the new identity helps highlight the company’s growth and focus on innovation and customer service.
The rebranding is the latest evolution for the company, which has undergone name changes in the past. In 2012, the group changed its name from Victor Chandler to BetVictor. The business was later purchased by major shareholder Michael Tabor, leading to the departure of Victor Chandler. Meinrad, formerly of Bwin-party, joined as CEO and expanded the company’s scope into new areas, including supporting media brands in their online launches. BVGroup has licenses in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany, Malta, Gibraltar, and Ontario, but has yet to enter the US market.
In partnership with BVGroup, UK radio station Heart launched Heart Bingo, while Talksport Bet was launched with the assistance of UK commercial radio station Talksport. In Germany, BVGroup collaborated with newspaper Bild to introduce BildBet.
