Kambi will continue to supply its sportsbook technology and services to LeoVegas as part of the extended agreement. This is the second renewal of the partnership, which first began in 2016. The first renewal occurred in 2020.
The partnership renewal emphasizes Kambi’s sportsbook capabilities and highlights their cutting-edge technology and services. Kristian Nylén, CEO and co-founder of Kambi, expressed delight in extending the sportsbook partnership with LeoVegas, a world-leading operator with a strong success record.
Both Kambi and LeoVegas have been active in the sports betting space this year. In April, Kambi extended its sportsbook deal with Colombian BetPlay operator Corredor Empresarial SA. LeoVegas also launched its Expekt sportsbook brand in Denmark, which was acquired in 2021.
Per Carlander, director of sports strategy at LeoVegas, stated that these launches in the sportsbook market demonstrate the company’s ongoing plans for expansion globally. Carlander expressed pleasure in extending the partnership with Kambi, emphasizing the importance of innovation in delivering the best igaming experience for their customers.
In May, LeoVegas was acquired by MGM, following a year-long bid process. This significant deal sets LeoVegas up for future growth and development.
