The global deal with Bundesliga International has been extended for an additional six years until the end of the 2031-32 season. Sportradar will continue to provide data and audio-visual products worldwide, as well as serve as the official provider of betting and streaming rights for Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2.
Additionally, the deal covers other DFL properties such as the German Supercup and relegation playoff matches. Sportradar has the rights to sub-license video content from Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 to its sportsbook clients, and will exclusively distribute live match data for betting purposes.
Furthermore, Sportradar will offer betting and streaming rights for all matches in the WOW Virtual Bundesliga esports offering and work on expanding the Sportradar Virtual Sports Bundesliga with DFL. The partnership also includes education and prevention services such as bet monitoring through Sportradar’s Universal Fraud Detection System.
Bundesliga International’s chief marketing officer, Peer Naubert, emphasized the league’s commitment to innovation, while Moritz Gloeckler, senior vice-president of rights and strategic projects at Sportradar, expressed excitement for the future collaborations and enhancements in the fan experience.
