Scheduled to go live next month, FanDuel TV will be widely available on linear television through major cable and satellite distributors like Comcast Xfinity, Spectrum, Verizon FIOS, DirectTV, DISH, Cox Communications, FuboTV, YouTubeTV, and Hulu.
FanDuel+ OTT platform will be accessible on direct-to-consumer platforms such as Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire. Existing FanDuel customers with accounts on their sportsbook, casino, horse racing, or daily fantasy platforms can download FanDuel+ for free.
FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ are the first linear and digital networks dedicated to sports wagering content to launch in the US. FanDuel’s chief commercial officer Mike Raffensperger stated, “FanDuel TV is designed to be watched by viewers with their phone in hand, merging live sports and interactive content. We aim to provide fans with compelling programming to watch and wager on alongside our mobile app.”
FanDuel TV will be a rebrand of TVG Network, focusing on horse racing. It will broadcast various content, including a live daily morning show hosted by Kay Adams, previously a host of “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network.
Content for FanDuel TV will also be produced by sports media specialist Pat McAfee and his team at PMI Network, as well as popular sports and pop-culture podcasts and digital network The Ringer Network.
Former ESPN SportsCenter anchor Lisa Kerney will continue to host FanDuel’s signature sports betting show “More Ways to Win,” providing sports betting analysis and insights on sports leagues.
FanDuel TV aims to become the new home of international basketball in the US. Through a licensing deal with Sportradar, it will air over 3,000 hours of live sports, including Australia’s National Basketball League, the Chinese Basketball League, and the French and German pro leagues.
Additionally, FanDuel TV will continue to broadcast horse racing action, featuring coverage from top tracks like Gulfstream, Del Mar, Keeneland, Pimlico, and Santa Anita, as well as major events like the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
Raffensperger said, “TVG has been the leader in the horse racing space for the past 20 years, and the launch of FanDuel TV creates an exciting new platform for the future. FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will bring racing into the mobile era, attract a new generation of fans, and offer more live sports than any other network in America.”
