YGAM is a responsible gambling charity that focuses on educating and protecting young people from the negative effects of gambling. They have been chosen as the official charity partner for the InnovateChange Affiliate London Awards.
“We are delighted to have YGAM as our official charity partner,” said Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming. YGAM is highly respected and well-known within the ICE London exhibitor and stakeholder community. The industry’s commitment to safer gambling is a priority, and we are proud to use the ICE brand and platform to promote safer gambling and raise awareness of YGAM’s outstanding work.”
Clarion Gaming has demonstrated an increased commitment to promoting safer gambling at the ICE London trade show, with the introduction of the Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ) in 2018. The responsible gambling section of the show has grown from 14 stands to 22 between the 2022 and 2023 editions of ICE.
As an ICE ambassador, YGAM will receive branding visibility throughout the show, participate in the official exhibition opening, attend the Casino Awards and WRA reception as guests, and have fundraising visibility through leaflets.
“We are pleased to once again work closely with Clarion Gaming this year,” said Ian Shanahan, YGAM’s director of business development and fundraising. “ICE London is a significant event in our industry, providing us with a valuable platform to raise awareness about our efforts to prevent gaming and gambling harms. We are excited to showcase our ambitious new strategy and refreshed brand at ICE, as we look forward to an exciting year for our charity in 2023.”
YGAM, founded in 2014 by Lee Willows, Anne Evans, and Keith Evans, has launched various responsible gambling initiatives, including a program aimed at preventing young people’s gambling addiction, which has reached over two million individuals since its launch in 2020.
