Brian Christner has been appointed as the chief of online gaming for Grand Casino Baden in Switzerland. This casino was the first in the country to launch an online offering with Jackpots.ch in July 2019. The online platform is powered by Gamanza and features live dealer content from Evolution Gaming. Christner is an experienced IT specialist with over a decade of industry experience, previously working for International Game Technology (IGT) as a systems engineer and support manager from 2000 to 2011. Another property owned by Stadtcasino Baden Group and Belgium’s Ardent Group, Casino Davos, has appointed Robert Kocher to lead its Casino777 igaming site. Kocher is a veteran of the igaming industry, having worked in the sector since 1998. Casino777 was launched in September 2019 and is powered by Gaming1, a subsidiary of Ardent Group.
The management team at Grand Casino Baden and Casino Davos has recently undergone significant restructuring. Christian Stegemann was appointed as the chief financial officer, and Dr. Alexandra Körner joined to oversee legal and compliance in May and June 2020 respectively. In November of last year, Michael Böni became the new chief executive, replacing the long-serving Detlef Brose. Böni expressed confidence in the new team and their ability to lead the “House of Entertainment” into the future.
