Bo Wänghammar has extensive experience in the igaming industry, having held senior roles throughout his career. He was previously the managing director of casino at Pokerstars and the CEO of Mr Green. Recently, he took over the role of Mike Stevens.
Wänghammar now joins the Real Luck Group Board, along with other directors including chairman Drew Green, CEO Thomas Rosander, Lloyd Melnick, and Maruf Raza. This appointment follows Stevens’ resignation to focus on his family and charity work. Rosander expressed his excitement about Wänghammar joining the board, stating that his experience and guidance will be invaluable as Real Luck aims to expand its user acquisition efforts and revenues.
Wänghammar’s track record speaks for itself. During his time with PokerStars, he successfully doubled the revenues of the casino vertical to over $500 million, surpassing the core poker offering. Similarly, under his leadership at Mr Green, the business experienced rapid growth and achieved strong profitability. Furthermore, he played a crucial role in refactoring the technical infrastructure, resulting in the launch of a portfolio of award-winning products.
In addition, Real Luck recently appointed Benn Timbury as the new chief operating officer at the beginning of the month.
