Hilton has recently joined PointsBet Canada after her previous role as director of business development at Ingenuity Gaming. Prior to that, she held positions at Bally’s Interactive as director of igaming product for North America and senior product manager of online casino. Hilton also gained experience at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, where she served as a slot and tables product manager and product specialist for online casino. She has also worked at BuildDirect and Cowie and Fox. Hilton expressed her excitement in her new role as head of casino at PointsBet, as she has been dedicated to the Canadian igaming industry for over 10 years. PointsBet Canada currently operates exclusively in Ontario under a license that expires in 2024.
Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FBG) is in the process of acquiring full control of PointsBet US. The purchase price of $225.0m was agreed upon in June, and approval from PointsBet shareholders was granted shortly after. FBG has already completed the acquisition of PointsBet’s operations in New York and Wyoming and has received approval to acquire PointsBet US in eight other states including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
