Rosander has been appointed as the CEO of Real Luck, despite having only taken on the role of chief customer officer at the company in February of this year. Prior to joining Real Luck, Rosander held positions as chief executive of Dunder Casino, chief product officer at Mr Green, section head business intelligence at bwin, engagement director and business intelligence director at Electronic Arts.
Rosander expressed excitement about his new role, stating, “I am thrilled to be taking over as CEO and look forward to leading the company as we scale the business.” He also acknowledged the talented and experienced team at Luckbox and expressed confidence in their ability to build Luckbox into a world-leading esports betting destination.
Real Luck chairman, Drew Green, commented on Rosander’s appointment, saying, “Thomas’s past industry success and unique operational skill sets made him the optimal choice to become our CEO.” Green also highlighted Rosander’s track record of scaling similar businesses to Luckbox profitably.
Replacing the previous CEO, Martin, who voluntarily stepped down after just over a year in the role, Rosander’s promotion marks the latest senior appointment at Real Luck. The company has recently named Nevzat Ucar as head of content and Ran Kaspi as its new chief financial officer.
