Brown will assume the role of CEO for Glitnor Group in January 2024, replacing David Flynn who stepped down in December last year.
Jorgen Nordlund, the co-founder, has been serving as interim CEO until Brown takes over.
As CEO, Brown will be responsible for leading Glitnor’s expansion plans in the igaming industry, specifically in Europe, North America, and Latin America.
Prior to joining Glitnor, Brown worked at GiG for seven and a half years, where he held various positions including CEO, COO, Chief Digital Officer, and Managing Director for GiG Media.
Before his time at GiG, Brown had experience with Highlight Media Group, Web Guide Partner, and THG Sports.
Brown expressed his excitement about the opportunity to contribute to Glitnor’s long-term ambitions and add value to the business, its staff, and shareholders.
Co-founder Nordlund believes that Brown’s appointment will have a positive impact on Glitnor and help strengthen its brands.
Brown’s departure from GiG was announced last month as the company undergoes a strategic review that may result in two separate entities.
GiG Media, the affiliate arm led by CMO Jonas Warrer, will continue under its current leadership, leaving the platform and sportsbook business in search of a new CEO.
Brown felt that it was the right time for him to embrace a new challenge at Glitnor and is eager to start in the New Year.
