Suki Sandhu has been appointed as the overseer of games development at Gaming Realms. In this role, he will introduce new concepts and elements to the company’s content. Sandhu joins Gaming Realms from Inspired, where he served as the product director for igaming. He has also held positions as the product director at WynnBet, head of games at Roxor Gaming and Gamesys, and product director for the UK market at Inspired.
Sandhu expressed his excitement about joining Gaming Realms and working with the management, internal and external studios, and product teams. He aims to build creative games and mechanics to enhance the Slingo brand and explore innovative concepts that will contribute to the growth of Gaming Realms. The CEO of Gaming Realms, Mark Segal, welcomed Sandhu and praised his expertise and skills, highlighting their intention to provide players around the world with more engaging and entertaining gaming experiences.
Gaming Realms recently achieved record revenue of £11.5m in the first half, with a year-on-year growth of 35.3%. The licensing segment revenue experienced a significant increase of 46.3%, totaling £9.8m, including licensing revenue of £8.8m and brand licensing revenue of £1.0m. The social business revenue amounted to £1.8m, slightly down by 2.2% compared to the previous year. The net profit for the period rose by 80.6% to £2.5m, and the EBITDA reached a new record of £4.5m, representing a 36.7% increase.
